We have had an awesome inshore season so far this year, the trout have been biting great with lots of fish over 20 inches being landed every day! Red fish have been hitting good on a variety of baits as well, we have been catching them on spoons, cut mullet, pin fish and good ole shrimp under a cork. Our typical day the past few weeks has consisted of a solid split between inshore fishing the mornings then running our 4-8 miles and targeting the Cobia that showed up in mid April. I have been so busy that I have not had time to keep up with my reports on here, but we also had a great season on the sheepshead in January, February and early March. I will continue to do mostly inshore trips right up to the last week of may, then we will be switching over to the offshore boat to start our Red Snapper and Gag grouper season! I am very excited for this years Offshore season, we have tons of nice Red Snapper on our rocks and wrecks in 50-80 feet of water, and there are plenty of big Gags out there as well! If you are wanting to get on one of our offshore trips, we only have a few days left for the Red Snapper season, but we have plenty of days left for the fall grouper season!
